The Disney Cruise

Although Disney is most known for their amusement parks and movies, they also have a cruise line that families vacation on every year. The Disney cruise is a place for everyone, they have activities and fun things to do for all ages.

While aboard the Disney cruise they can stop at several destinations which are:

-Alaska                             -Hawaii                                                      
-Caribbean                       - Mexico
-Bahamas                         -Panama Canal
-California Coast              -Transatlantic
-Europe



To the right is a short clip of the different activities that children and preteens have available to them on the ship. While on the Disney Cruise Ship there is always something to do to keep everyone busy and enjoying their stay.

Disney Movies


Throughout the years Disney has been known to release popular children movies. The first movie that Walt Disney ever released was, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs which was released in 1937. Although some people, even his wife told him they did not know if adults would sit through a movie about dwarfs, he continued to create the movie anyway. After the premiere of the movie everyone loved it, and it became an instant hit.

The Start of Disney


Walt Disney

Walt Disney was a great man of success, born December 5, 1901. Disney was always creative and had a great imagination, even as a child he loved to draw and sketch. When he was younger he attended McKinley High School, where he studied art and photography. By night he attended the Academy Fine Arts, to enhance his drawing skills. Disney later moved to Hollywood and that's where his career took off.


Steamboat Willie

 November 18, 1928 is when the great Mickey Mouse was first introduced, he appeared on Steamboat Willie. It was the world's first synchronized sound cartoon. He then went on to take his creativity to a new level opening a theme park.







Theme Parks


Disneyland, which is located in California was first opened in 1955 and it had more than 200 million people coming from all over the world to explore the park. Soon later, Disney World Resort opened up in 1971 then, EPCOT(1982) and MGM Studios(1989) opened up a few years later. 

The Disney Theme parks are very successful even to this day many families vacation there every year.
